Soil-Away recently had the privilege of sponsoring and participating in the 14th Annual Teen Challenge New Hampshire Golf Classic. The tournament took place at Candia Woods in Candia, NH. Soil-Away brought three foursomes to the event. Approximately 180 business leaders and individuals came out to support the great organization.
This summer Soil-Away sent two operations managers, Tommy and Cam, to Philadelphia, PA to attend Applied Structural Drying (ASD) school. This advanced course is a three-day, hands-on water damage restoration experience that culminates with a certification exam. During the course a house is flooded so that attendees can experiment with different drying techniques and approaches. Applied Structural Drying school is designed for experienced water damage restoration technicians who have years’ experience in the industry and are already IICRC Water Damage (WRT) certified.
Apple cider donuts, orange and red-hued leaves and chilly nights are the many tell-tale signs that fall is here in the Granite State. Aside from enjoying all of the amenities and fall scenery that unfolds before us every year in New Hampshire (NH), many business and home owners are checking tasks off their fall “to-do” lists, which may include inspecting gutters, draining hoses and checking caulk around doors and windows. While evaluating your home’s gutters for debris and other questionable matter can seem like a daunting and undesirable task compared to apple picking and hiking, these fall tasks may save you time and money by catching any issues before they strike unexpectedly in the future.
Chilly mornings and evenings, leaves slowing changing on the trees and children heading back to school can only mean one thing: fall is creeping in around the Granite State. While some may be elated that school is back in session for the new academic year, others may be disappointed that the summer months are whisking by and coming to end. With seasonal projects wrapping-up and business and home owners getting ready for the fall and winter months, what is on your “to-do” project list? Finishing that last bathroom renovation? Shopping for new appliances? Or ensuring the woodstove is in “tip-top” condition for the chilly months ahead? How about getting rid of mold that has been nagging your basement or attic?
